New Customs Regulation for All Import Cargoes to Korea
Korean Customs has announced new customs regulation, effect to all import cargoes to Korea (Busan Port, Incheon Port) dated from Jan/18/2010, as following.
1. Manifest file MUST be done 24 hours in priority of vessel arrival date but cargoes from Japan, China can be done on the date of vessel arrival.
2. Accurate commodity including 6 digit of HS Code & type of package - It has to be described in detail (allow 200 letter) on Bill of Lading. General commodity can not be accetable.
3. Accurate information of Shipper and Consignee including ADDRESS, TEL NO. & PIC
4. Container number MUST be filed.
If fails, the whole container can be confiscated and inspected by Customs.
